Kevin: Kevin Carroll,Katalyst. Author/Speaker/Agent for Social Change. I travel all around the globe speaking to businesses, communities and students about how the power of sport/play can be a catalyst to improve creativity, problem-solving, innovation and a tool for social innovation. I truly enjoy being a part of this global movement demonstrating that “a ball can change the world.”
Alvin: Pick any man in the world to learn from who would it be and why?

Kevin: I will have completed a graphic novel project, with Marvel Comics & ESPN Books on how tweens, teens and twenty-somethings can be “super hero” social innovators and create sustainable social change.
Alvin: What are you most curious about?
Kevin: The innovation and creative process – there are so many unique and successful approaches to solving a problem and delivering an unexpected solution.
Alvin: What has been your largest step to manhood?
Kevin: Being a single-father for my two sons for 15 years (now 31y/o & 27y/o) and realizing that I didn’t have “all the answers” so I sought out the wisdom of others + created a support network to ensure our success as a family – asking for “help” was a BIG step on my road to manhood.
Alvin: What has been the best advice you received about being a man?
Kevin: “don’t talk about it…be about it!” + “check your Want-To daily!”- Louis W. Carroll/My Grandfather0
